I’m pleased to finally launch my handcrafted brush font Whicker and its complimentary sans-sidekick. They function great on their own, but truly shine when combined! Perfect for logos, quotes, apparel, branding, headlines and anything that you want to draw attention to! Every common and many uncommon letter combinations have had OpenType kerning rules applied to them to ensure that Whicker is always on top form with minimal editing (Kerning = The spacing between the letters). All of the uppercase letters in the Whicker typeface have stylistic alternatives available. Some letters look much better than others in specific situations, so don’t hesitate to experiment with these! Also, the following punctuation glyphs – _ = + ~ / are handy brush strokes!

Licensing

Desktop: For Use on a Desktop Workstation

Ideal for personal and professional use in desktop applications with a font menu. Examples include:

  • Mac OS X or Windows systems
  • Applications like Microsoft Word, Mac Pages, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop

Usage: Create and print documents, and static images (.jpeg, .tiff, .png).

Webfont: For Your Website

Web fonts embed in webpages using the @font-face rule, allowing text styling for paragraphs and headings.

Usage: Serve the webfont kit from your site, linking it in the CSS.

Licensing: For a single domain. Not shareable across multiple websites.

  • If the font is in a static image (e.g., a logo), get a Desktop license instead.

Standard License: Covers 10,000 monthly impressions. Increase this limit with add-ons.

Use this for embedding fonts in mobile apps for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone.

Licensing: Covers one application per license.

ePub License: For Embedding in E-Text Products

Licensing: It is based on the number of publications. Each issue is a separate publication, and one purchase covers one publication.

  • For fonts in rasterized ePub cover images, consider a Desktop license.
